Description
The Quantabots are an ancient Cybertronian combiner team, who have a mysterious past.
This story introduces them into the Transformers G1 continuity, with some familiar faces along the way.
Whilst almost every other Autobot and Decepticon has left Earth, involved in a 'big space adventure', Someone was left behind to guard the planet... or destroy it's moon! This story is set during Season 2.5.

Of all the Quantabots that were shown in the comic, Night Glider is my immediate favorite. He strikes me as a practical joker of sorts, cracking space jokes and playing tricks on his teammates and commander. I think one particular joke that he'd make is this:
Night Glider(mischievous): Yo, Gold Tread, Astroplex, if the rocks that strike a planet are called meteorites, what do you call the ones that miss?
Astroplex(groaning and rolls his optics): Oh Primus, here it comes.
Gold Tread(smiling): I have no clue, what?
Night Glider(grinning like an idiot): Meteor-Wrongs!
(Gold Tread bursts out laughing and even Cosmos giggles a little. Astroplex, Copper Wing and SpyKlops shake their heads in disbelief.) SpyKolps(unimpressed): That was so cheesy, I could smell it from a lightyear away.
Gold Tread and Night Glider(teasing): Oh yeah? Says the mech who has no face!
Astroplex(slightly annoyed): Enough, you two! What did I say about teasing our surveyor?
Night Glider and Gold Tread(crestfallen): To not to.
